An American Thanksgiving in Korea^^

Hello from Korea^^

To all of our friends & family back in America, we hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday filled with good food and laughter with your family & friends. We didn't get a chance to celebrate Thanksgiving last year during our first year in Korea so, this year we decided to go all out.

Since there are no Turkeys OR ovens here (Korean prepare their food on the stove), making a Thanksgiving dinner for 20 friends was definitely a challenge but, with some creativity & imported goods from America (Thanks Mom ) we were able to pull it all together.

We shared the holiday with friends from 5 different countries; Korea, America, Canada, England & China. For some of them, this was their very first American Thanksgiving so, it was such a blessing to be able to celebrate the holiday with them & watch them try their very first bite of stuffing and pumpkin pie.....yum!! :)

While I was busy prepping all the food, Luke found an American football and organized a game to teach our Korean friends how to hold & throw the ball. He also downloaded the Macy's Parade so we could play it while we ate. It was a wonderful holiday & everyone had a great time!! ^_^
